A recording of a live performance from a show I played with Spirituals+Steve Roach and Pas Moi at Two Rivers Bookstore in Memphis, TN.

My setup that day consisted of three tape decks playing at different speeds, a roland gaia, various fx pedals, and a mixer at its end of life. The result was a very noisy set that went to lots of unexpected places.

Source material on the tapes is a slowed down and stretched version of one of the first tracks I recorded under the Blanket Swimming moniker, a piece titled "Bathe in the River" that appears on my first album "Goodnight Jungle." These tapes would later go on to form my piece titled "Great Western Square" released under my own name on the Psøma Psi Phi label as part of the 5-hour record, "Forms Within Spaces."

Thank you to the handful of friends and strangers who came to the show.
