about

recorded using a single, portable synthesizer.

some of the rough outlines for the tracks were formulated moments before recording, while most of the pieces were fully improvised on the spot. the tracks are not meant to be complete gestures, but rather short daydreams that one may drift in and out of. truly aimless wanderings. like those days where you just walk, with no destination in mind and no preconceived plan for when you will turn back around, or if you will at all. this set of recordings was perhaps the last I made in Cork before moving back to America. a summarizing pool of thoughts. an observation. a memory.

tracks titled by opening "V." by Thomas Pynchon to pages within the chapter I was reading and letting my eyes fall randomly to words and phrases, connecting disparate segments to create new meaning.

it is encouraged to experiment by listening with shuffle play turned on, creating new arcs and meanings to these meandering spaces.
