about

The tracks that comprise Night Of Oblivion were produced simultaneously with the Crepuscular EP. The original intent was to intersperse the pieces among the Crepuscule tracks, creating a sort of back/forth dialog between these varying, dark pieces. However, after many failed attempts at creating cohesion between the two things, I decided to split the 11 tracks into two conceptual and concise EPs.

While the tracks on Crepuscular solely use source from Onlooker (2014) by my old post-rock band, The Empty Handed Painters, the Night Of Oblivion pieces were composed in real time using a singing bowl, AM/FM radio, tape deck, synthesizer, and guitar pedals. The result is dim-lit, drifting and drab. A proper expression of the Night.
