Recorded sometime around May - June of 2015. This material was supposed to comprise my side of a split with Ashville, NC - based artist, Owner. The tape was never released. Collaborative material was also recorded but is not included here since I have long fallen out of contact with the artist.

This is some of the earliest material I recorded under the Blanket Swimming moniker. Much of my early work was characterized by the use of heavily effected electric guitar, as is apparent in these recordings. The final piece, "Life, Like Radio," is an odd one - one of my first attempts at a narrative-like collage of found and recorded sound, electronics, and guitar drone.

I have sat on this material for over 6 years now and assumed it would never see the light of day. However, I feel that these recordings are at the least interesting archival documents. Listening back they seem quite curious - a shadow of what was yet to come. They display a certain naivety of a former self stumbling upon something that seemed paramount.
